Coloursss

Doing some colour draft thingy! This fri we have to complete this landscape thingy on A3 size paper full coloured with our chosen medium..so as ya guys know I'm using derwent coloursoft. I hope I can finish on time tho, cuz colour pencils seem to take an extreeeeeeeemely long time.

After drawing like 2 works that are this purply-orangey sunset sky I got SUPER TIRED OF IT ALREADY! It's kinda sad..I used to love that kind of colours so much, but I got very, very tired of it. (Like how your fav song becomes..a song u skip Lol) So yeah now I'm after more "cooler" and "lighter" colours like greenish-bluish and light yellow skies.

And I got this really bad habit of blogging very frequently for 1 period of time then abandoning my blog lol and reviving it again. S-i-g-h-s. Haha

Ouchhh

After resting awhile it doesn't hurt anymore! But 4hrs of non stop drawing is not good for the hand and mind...dun mind my ugly drawings..they were all done in a hurry in class >__< I suck at copics. I totally avoid this medium whenever possible lol. But no escape this time!! I had to do thumbnail value drawings. Roar they really suck!! And my poor N1 marker went out of ink @__@ Needa go artfriend and spend 6 bucks on the refill! Sighs...

OH AND I WANNA DRAW LABRADOR FROM 07-Ghost!! He's so gentle!!!!! :D
(And I got a thing for purple hair/eyes :P)

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!!!

I get really pissed when I see art in my favourites that are "in storage"! Oh come on what GIVES!!!! I like your art and thus I put in my favs for me to look and admire. But noooo!! I can't see anything now! The saddest part is I can't rmb what the heck I have faved! I respect the artist's decision and that they can do whatever they like with their art. But you might as well delete it because I hate the feeling of "so near yet so far". The art is there, but you cant see it. DARN

So I'm telling all the peeps whose art is in my favs and they "store" it: Instant out of my favs! Too bad for ya. I bet you guys saw this coming anyway.

Kinda my 1st time doing gesture drawing?

Hoho, I think I suck at gesture drawing.
My cher (teacher) said that while doing gesture drawing, the lines shouldn't be 'hairy'.
Gotta get rid of this habit while doing these kinda drawing!!

When I see blogs like this (eg http://otakulei.tumblr.com/) I get really pissed cuz they didnt at least link to the artists' website/account/etc. "All images are copyrighted by their respective owners unless otherwise stated. OTAKULEI doesn’t claim ownership to any of these photos." Writing this does not cut it.

Another complaint I have is that the "white overlay" over the pictures sucks and I have to mouse over the pictures to "get rid of it"...If the blog only consists of a few pics then whatever, but not when the whole blog itself are pictures -.-

I tried to click on the message link to write to them through their ask box but the link is broken. Oh well.

I get pissed at some livejournal icon makers too because they only write : From tumblr/from pixiv...blabla...

And if its from a manga panel you could also at least write which manga it was from.

Actually the real reason why I'm so pissed (oops) cuz the art is so amazing and I really want to know who drew those stuff and see his/her other works. ROAR!!!!!

Wheeee LATE POST LOL

Anyway school has started and a whale of homework just came flushing in. But I hope that if I have a lil' bit of free time I would like to work on my Weather-tan ocs! I've drawn the three of em (not tellin who yet hoho) and scanned it in my computer..now I have to line and colour them in!

My digital painting is really sucky but nvm that for now. I hope I can work well with colour pencils ^^

I tried creating tumblr and posting stuff but fail T_T I'm more used to blogger for posting stuff, and tumblr for stalkin' n rebloggin' :P But during the long hols Imma figure out how to use tumblr properly!! :D

Roar

When you have a friend that's super good at drawing, it's good and bad.

Good is that you can ask her for loads of advice! And if she's nice she'll teach you lots of stuff and help improve in your drawing. It's really great.

But the bad is that when u sit beside her, no one looks at your drawings, and everyone will praise her drawing. Well, you can call it envy, actually I do not really care about the compliments, but it's sad that u're being overshadowed.

Just some casual ranting hurhur

Oh and to praise myself: I LOVEEEEEEEEE PENCIL DRAWING and my pencil drawings! Though it can be bolder and more realistic. Urgh..but my pen drawing is really shitty..it's nowhere near realistic..a friend just told me they looked like cartoon drawings

*BE PREPARED TO FAIL URGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*

By the way, I suck at copics. I really do. And I don't have much of an interest for them. (I mean I love to see others' copic drawings, but I personally don't really like using the medium.) I have chosen colour pencils as my preferred medium for the big project at the end of the semester, and got myself an expensive box of derwent coloursofts!!! ARGH..Learning drawing really burns a big hole outta my (father's) pocket YAAAAAAAH

I'm okay with colourpencils just that I'm kinda stuck when the colour comes out different...Still trying to blend the colours @__@ JIA YOUS SELF!!!
